Unbelievably, Australia’s biggest ever soap opera has been on air for 20 years and that anniversary is celebrated on BBC 1 all week with the return of a bunch of much loved characters including Doug Willis, Annalise Hartman and Joe Mangel. If (like me) you’ve not been a committed Neighbours viewer since the heyday of Mrs Mangel, Bouncer, Plain Jane Superbrain and Mr Udagowa, you can get up to speed with a year-by-year timeline. There’s a section dedicated to the anniversary and a terrific Harold Bishop’s Food-Flinging Frenzy game set in the coffee shop
