>> Radiohead: Creep (Low Morale animated video)
I’ve not featured many online animations on the programme, as it can be hard to do them justice on the radio. However these award-winning animated videos from illustrators Monkeehub are so amazing that they deserve a much wider audience. You’ll have a long wait to load these videos if you don’t have a broadband connection, but they are well worth the wait!
Both videos are moving and visually stunning, and the JCB Song is a feel-good nostalgia-fest. It’s the autobiographical story of a five year old boy going for a ride in his dad’s JCB (complete with references to Bruce Lee, Zoids, Transformers and Mr T’s B. A. Baracus character from The A Team). The whole site is seen from the perspective of the little boy with the video appearing to be drawn with pencils in his schoolbook!
The band who recorded JCB Song are Nizlopi (who were recent guests on Dermot O’ Leary’s Saturday Show ). You can find out more about them and listen to clips from their album at Nizlopi.com

I heard Nizlopi do this song a couple of weeks ago, unplugged and intimate with the crowd sat around them (like listening to a story being told)and it was a magical experience.
Good luck guys!

This is one of the most incredible songs ever! Being an animator, I really appreciate the video, but more then that is the way it tugs on the heartstrings. AWESOME! All the 'happinesses' of childhood wrapped up in a small bundle! The A-Team, King Kong, Mary Poppins.....etc. WOW, there are no words!

Thank you, thank you so much for this. We've played it so often. It's near enough the perfect antidote to the c**p that's going on in the world today. It may be too early, but it would be the first decent Chrissie no.1 for ages.
