>> The Evening Inn - Interactive Cookery
Now this is good - a food and cookery site which works even for those who are renowned for culinary muppetry! This excellent interactive cookbook calculates ingredient quantities for how many servings you need and adds a time scheduler which tells you exactly when to add each ingredient in order to get your meal on the table in time.
Whoever had the idea for an "interactive" cook book should be given a medal ... !!
For a non-cuisine freak like myself an absolute boon ...
I cooked for some friends at the weekend (1st time ever) and found it really easy and woah ... loads of fun too ... !!
well done to the eveninginn.com crew and many thanks to Steve and Miles for bringing it to our attention.

What an amazing website this is! I've played all afternoon on it (I should have been working!) The Cooking Basics in the information side is really excellent - loads of info that I never even thought about. Brilliant to see where cuts of meat come from. I bought some Japanese Sake to go with the Simple Sushi Recipe on the site. Great it's all under one roof.
