>> Map 24
I've been using Multimap as my site-of-choice for finding maps and driving directions for the last few years, but Map24 really raises the bar, by introducing animated interactive maps and route planning. While no route-planning site is as useful as a friend who knows the best shortcuts, this is the next best thing!
AT LAST !! A good map website, I lived in a house in Packer road, Kettering,. Northants in 2003, and it was approx 2 years old, the road had other houses which were 5 years old, ans still multimap, and streetmap showed we lived in a field (Try for your self POstcode: NN15 7RP) Map 24 actually show the road, so it is clearly up to date.
Thank you Miles !!

I agree that Map 24 is indeed very good but let's not forget another equally impressive site operated by Michelin - www.viamichelin.com. The maps are very clear, the driving directions include all major road signs along the route and the interactivity is very good. Viamichelin also provides very useful information on hotels, restaurants and tourist attractions, as well as speed camera locations in France.

I heard the website of the day about Map24 and i thought i would like to give it a try, well i typed in my postcode and my farthers postcode and pressed the button for it to "go".The route that it showed me said that i had left the county and returned in 15 minutes journey time eventhough the next county is 1&1/2 hrs away. This did amuse me and make me wonder what i did wrong (i did check twice the postcodes). The route also said i had left the county twice on a journey that normally takes 40 mins.

Have you seen a new website which is geared up to selling books - I think it is a very good idea - we have so many books at home and this is a wonderful idea to sell books. I like the idea that it covers for braille, large print and foreign readers.
