>> The Surreal Gourmet
This is cookery for people who don’t much like cooking: “For those with a sense of culinary adventure The Surreal Gourmet serves up fresh attitude towards cooking and entertaining and shows you how dysfunctional kitchens, mismatched dinnerware and low budgets can be easily overcome by a little creativity and an armful of fresh ingredients!”
If you're wondering what the picture on the right of this text is all about, that would be the site's legendary recipe for Beer-Can chicken!
Heard your tip for The Surreal Gourmet on the show and had to write in.
As a food lover and vaugley kean cyclist I have decided to jack in the job and set off around the Americas on a pedal powered gastronomic tour in search of the perfect meal.
To spice things up a bit I have left my route open to the public who can submit where I should go for my next meal through my website. I have already had some bizzare suggestions and over 15o invites for supper from complete strangers...
Hmmmmm?
Anyway I do hope you like the site (all built when not pedalling and eating)
